A Ford T modell Henry Ford zseniális

autómodellje volt, melyet a magyar
Galamb József tervezett. 1908 és 1927
között gyártották az USA-ban,
Németországban Brazíliában és
Argentínában. Az autósorozat arról
híres, hogy ez volt a világon az
első, futószalagon gyártott autó. Ez
a gyártási mód lehetővé tette, hogy
az autó olcsóbbá váljon, és bárki
vásárolhasson egyet magának. Az
autóból rengeteget megőriztek
magánszemélyek és múzeumok.

The Ford Model T (colloquially known as
the Tin Lizzie and Flivver) is an
automobile that was produced by Henry
Ford's Ford Motor Company from 1908
through 1927. The Model T set 1908 as
the historic year that the automobile
came into popular usage. It is generally
regarded as the first affordable
automobile, the car that "put America on
wheels"; some of this was because of
Ford's innovations, including assembly
line production instead of individual
hand crafting, as well as the concept of
paying the workers a wage proportionate
to the cost of the car, so that they
would provide a ready made market.[1]
The first production Model T was built
on September 27, 1908, at the Piquette
Plant in Detroit, Michigan. There
were several cars produced or prototyped
by Henry Ford from the founding of the
company in 1903 until the Model T came
along. Although he started with the
Model A, there were not 19 production
models (A through T); some were only
prototypes. The production model
immediately before the Model T was the
Ford Model S,[2] an upgraded version of
the company's largest success to that
point, the Model N. The follow-up was
the Ford Model A and not the Model U.
Company publicity said this was because
the new car was such a departure from
the old that Henry wanted to start all
over again with the letter A. As it
happens, the first Plymouth car (1928),
built by competitor Chrysler
Corporation, was named the Model U.
The Ford Model T was named the world's
most influential car of the twentieth
century in an international poll.[3]
Henry Ford said of the vehicle:
"I will build a car for the great
multitude. It will be large enough for
the family, but small enough for the
individual to run and care for. It will
be constructed of the best materials, by
the best men to be hired, after the
simplest designs that modern engineering
can devise. But it will be low in price
that no man making a good salary will be
unable to own one - and enjoy with his
family the blessing of hours of pleasure
in God's great open spaces 1908-1927

Introducing!Sample! The Bugatti Type
57C is as rare as it is beautiful, with
just 710 built between 1934 and 1940.
They’re all highly collectible and
frightfully expensive, but this 1936
model is just a little more so because
it is the car Ettore Bugatti himself
drove. The car goes on the block
during the super-glitzy Pebble Beach
Concours d’Elegance in August, and
auction officials think the final bid
could top the record-setting $12.1
million paid last month for a 1957
Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. And like
that stunning Ferrari, Bugatti’s
Bugatti has a rich history. This
particular 57 is standard fare from the
factory in Molsheim, France, which is to
say it’s beautiful. It features a
3.2-liter straight-eight under that long
beautiful bonnet - Ettore loved the
straight eight - and a luxuriously
appointed interior. The car is unusual
for its bright green on black two-tone
paint job. Most Bugattis were French
racing blue, Ettore being quite the
nationalists, you know. Odd, given that
he was an Italian ex-pat. Factory
employees built Chassis No. 57335 as a
birthday present for Le Patron’s 55th
birthday. His son Jean penned the
one-off body and it is believed to be
among the last of his designs. The car
was jealously cherished by the company,
which went to great pains to protect the
car from the Germans during World War
II. After Ettore’s death in 1947, the
car returned the factory and was
meticulously maintained. The car has
has no more than a few owners since it
left the factory for the last time in
1950, and not one of them has changed
the car in any significant way. It is
entirely original and much the same as
when Ettore last drove it. Like that
amazing Type 57S Atalante Coupe that was
found in a barn and auctioned for $4.53
million in February, this car may be one
of the best original-condition Bugattis
left on the planet. We’d place a
bid, but we’re running out of garage
space.

to offer 1957 Ferrari 410 SA
“Superamerica” SWB s/n 0713 SA. This
410 SA was ordered new from Luigi
Chinetti Motors by Richard Wolfe, a very
wealthy 20 year old from Columbus Ohio
who ordered the car custom built by
Ferrari and Pinin Farina to his
standards. 410 SA was built to be both
very fast and very luxurious and
featured many unique features, all of
which are still with the car and in
perfect working condition. 410 SA SWB
s/n 0713 SA features a built–in
chronograph, compass, fire extinguisher,
Blaupunkt radio with a reverberation
unit, a Halda trip computer and dual
rear window wipers. Wolfe owned and
drove Mercedes, so this car was ordered
with many German parts such as a 300 SL
steering dampener and 300 SL exterior
and interior mirrors and rubber faced
bumper guards. 410 SA s/n 0713 was
also the 1957 Chicago show car and was a
feature car on display by Wolfe at the
Sebring 12 hour race, 1957. 410 SA
SWB s/n 0713 SA is the first of only
five Series II 410 Superamericas built,
all with the SWB 2600mm chassis, and has
been restored to true Pebble Beach
standards, finishing 3rd in class at
Pebble Beach in August 2002 scoring 98.5
points. 410 SA s/n 0713 SA comes with
all documentation including the original
diagrammed order form from Richard
Wolfe, the build sheets, full tools and
hundreds of pages of work orders and
sublet work documenting the $300,000
plus restoration. 410 SA s/n 0713 is
fully sorted and runs and drives as new.
With its 4.9 litre Lampredi V–12 it
has massive torque and is a joy to
drive. When tested new in 1957 the 410
SAs would rip through the 1/4 mile at
13.9 seconds, a very quick time for a
car geared to run all day at 150 mph.
